CALPS Canvasser
We are excited to announce that we are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our NGO as a Canvasser.
As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for engaging with potential partners, donors, and communities, explaining the mission and goals of our organization. You will also be responsible for building strong partnerships and ensuring their successful integration while implementing a robust lead synergizing strategy.
In addition, you should be comfortable conducting both physical and virtual meetings for extended periods. Excellent conversational skills and the ability to travel as needed are essential. You will also need to promptly address any issues faced by your contacts.

Responsibilities
- Innovative Outreach: Develop creative ideas to enhance CALPS’ presence.
- Presentation Delivery: Memorize and deliver prepared presentation scripts.
- Mission Understanding: Gain an in-depth understanding of CALPS Foundation’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Daily Engagement: Communicate with various stakeholders (partners, members, and leads) daily.
- Information Collection: Gather information from potential contacts, such as names, phone numbers, and signatures.
- Cold Calling and Pitches: Make cold calls and meet people in person to present pitches.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or complaints from prospective contacts.
- Event Participation: Attend industry-related conferences, meetings, events, and gatherings.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Recruitment Assistance: Assist the Admin department in hiring new team members.
- Training: Provide training sessions for new Canvassers.
- Board Meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the board or chain of directors.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain all canvassing records on the organization’s server.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, HND, or NCE.
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Canvasser or in a related sales position.
- Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle various personalities.
- Efficient time management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Commitment: Willingness to work long hours and travel as needed.
